Dear Parents and Potential Cheerleaders,
Tryouts will be held on Tuesday June 6th- Thursday June 8th from 3:15- 5:15 pm. Thursday may have an extended time due to callbacks at tryouts. In order to try out for the cheer team you must have the attached forms completed, signed, and returned prior to June 2nd.
The forms include:
- *****Current Physical
- Davidson County Schools Student Athletic Participation Form
- Two(2) Concussion Forms
- Davidson County Residence Verification Form
- Cheerleading Guidelines/ Rules and Consent Form
- At least 2 teacher recommendation forms that must be completed by a CORE teacher (Math, Science, Social Studies, or Language Arts) Teacher’s fill these out online
These forms must be turned in prior to June 2nd, 2017 in order for your child to tryout. Please note all cheerleaders will be required to attend camps during the summer. One is August 5th at Davie High School the other is 8/21-8/25 (4:15-7 pm). Cheerleaders will be required to purchase all required merchandise. The cost of the camps will be around $120.
