Pacing Guide for 2024-2025 year:

Grading Procedure:
Class work will be graded and or checked and put in power school as class/homework
Major grades will be test or projects
Minor grades will be quizzes and vocabulary
Students have 5 days after an assignments due date to turn their assignment in. Each day an assignment is late 10 additional points will be removed from their grade. If the students is sick they have 5 days from the day they return to turn in all missing assignments.
New important Notice: The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in assignments, papers, projects, and exams is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the instructor. Students must ensure their work is original and consult the instructor if unsure about tool usage.
Expectations
I graduated from UNCC with a degree in Political Science and Communication Studies. This is my third year teaching at CDMS! I am eager to start this year and to meet all our new 7th graders!
